New York City

We spent a great few days visiting Victor's family on the east coast for Labor Day. My dad also came out to visit and see Victor's family. We love how our parents are friends!

We picked up my dad in the city and headed down to Chelsea Market for lunch. I loved that place! So many delicious options including the Doughnuttery, and the Pasta sampler from the Italian place can't remember the name. But it was Yum!

Then Victor was kind enough to take the boys and my dad and I went to see Fiddler on the Roof--it was so so good! I wasn't expecting to love it as much as I did.

The next morning we decided to check out the views at the Top of the Rock, and once again, thanks to Victor, because I was able to get a military discount and didn't have to wait an hour to get up like everyone else! Thanks for your service, Victor ;) The city views up there were awesome.

This is the view from my dads hotel room!:
We went to the east coast because it was a very special occasion. Victors mom, step dad Julio, and step sister Julissa made the decision to get baptized! It's been a long time that we have been patiently awaiting this. Paulina has been investigating the church for almost twenty years now, and my father in law and sister in law have been investigating since our wedding five years ago. We are so happy for them and grateful we could be there.
After the baptism we went out to liberty state park and enjoyed the city views.
Until next time, NYC!!
