When we were teenagers, my sister and I had a game we played during church where we would try to stump each other with movie quotes. There were rules though. We could only quote movies that we knew each other had seen. But we were pretty good at it. And that's why I'm obsessed with quoting movies. There were many times in Paris and London when I finally saw places in person and movie quotes were just bouncing around in my brain the whole time. So here's a quiz for you to see how good you are! (for everyone, but I have higher expectations for my sisters)
#1 "This is my school, my high society, here in the slums of San Michele"
#2 "Find anything interesting?"
"As a matter of fact, I did, over in the 10th arrondissement on Rue Paradis."
#3 "There was this charming place in Pigalle, I ate there at least twice a week."
#4 "Can you picture how drop dead gorgeous this city is in the rain? Imagine this town in the '20s. Paris in the '20s, in the rain. The artists and writers!"
"Why does every city have to be in the rain? What's wonderful about getting wet?"
#5 "We'll always have Paris"
#6 "The cloakroom at Victoria Station?!"
#7 "I make it a point never to pay when I dine at the Savoy."
#8 "Well aren't we Westminster Crabby?"
#9 "I'll take you to foggy London town 'cause you are my little gentleman."
#10 "What number in Belgrave Square?
"149."
"The unfashionable side."
#11 "From Kensington to Billingsgate one hears the restless cries
From every corner of the land: womankind arise!"
**Answers**
#1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, 7, and 10, #8, #9, #11
